Next level design for Fluére drinks

For Fluère (non-alcoholic beverages), we created an online brand experience based on the “Find your flow” concept. We built the unique bottles in 3D and let them render live in the website.

We also further reinforced the sense of flow by recreating the pattern of the bottle in various places throughout the website.

Fluère is a brand of Lucas Bols which makes distilled non-alcoholic beverages. They have created alternatives to rum and gin, among others. With great unique bottles and beautiful colors per flavor, the foundation for a strong brand was set.

The website needed revamping where the brand, bottles and cocktails needed a nice spot. You can place an order and checkout directly in Shopify through the WordPress website. So we were able to pair the unique WordPress website with a scalable Shopify backend – the best of both worlds.

Flow

The main theme for the branding and website is “flow. The bottle design was the main existing brand carrier of this. So the bottle was our starting point and we translated fully into digital branding for the new website.

The main points of recognition are the background in which the pattern rotates slowly, as a bottle would. Where we could, we used flowing lines in the layout of the pages to further enhance the sense of flow.

WordPress & Shopify together

The website is built entirely in WordPress, but the integrated checkout is Shopify. This made it possible for us to design and build a completely unique web design with a scalable ecommerce environment for the checkout.

This makes the old choice between WordPress and Shopify obsolete, as it allows for the best of both worlds.

3D live rendering

When we got in conversation with Fluère and saw the bottle design we were immediately sold and knew we had to do something with this in the website. We decided to elaborate the bottles in 3D with them being rendered live in the website for a real wow effect.

As a user, this allows you to take a good look at the bottle and run it to your liking. Above in the live demo you can try this for yourself.

Custom colors

Apart from the bottle design, the colors are also an eye-catcher. Therefore, we decided to move away from the general color palette in the design on each product detail page and make the page completely match the color of the beverage.

This provides an extra piece of immersion which is obviously very important for brand perception and it just looks very slick.

Results

Lucas Bols asked us for the new Fluère website, where we were given the freedom to prepare a new brand experience online. We were thus able to take with brand online to the next level.
